Title: How to solve ssh: Warning: Reading the ransom source seems to have blocked.
Post by: YouWaveModerator on March 05, 2014, 12:44:57 PM
If entering the ssh command in youwave causes the following error:

ssh: Warning: Reading the random source seems to have blocked.
If you experience problems, you probably need to find a better entropy source

Then enter these commands in the terminal:
su
cd /dev
mv random random_BAK
ln -s urandom random

ssh root@192.168.1.1

The terminal will display the following message:
Host '192.168.1.1' is not in the trusted hosts file.
Do you want to continue connecting? (y/n)

y

*Assuming your ssh username is root and your host 192.168.1.1.
Note1: adb shell command can be used instead of su
Note2: You can also use 3rd party apps like JuiceSSH
