Title: Does YouWave Android run GPS apps?
Post by: YouWaveAdmin on September 08, 2010, 01:34:53 AM
No, because YouWave Android runs under PC platform that does not have GPS sensor hardware by default, so we cannot support GPS function at this moment.

Once PC platform has GPS sensor, integrating that with apps like Google Maps Navigation would be useful. Hopefully it comes true.

Hey guys,

Just found Youwave, and its a great program. I'm setting up a car PC so to be able to have access to android apps as well as windows programs is a dream come true. I have a USB gps connected to the computer is there anyway for my to pass the GPS data through to Youwave?

Cheers

Currently USB-based GPS is not supported. But it is a work undertaking.
