i've reinstalled youwave and managed to install the market and successfully adding my google account.
when checking youwave's account settings it's listed there but tagged with "phone only, no synchronization".
so i can't load my contacts .. any ideas how to do it?
i remember there was an app which accomplished that.

some days ago my laptop crashed (win7 x64) - and since using the pc-keyboard for entering text isn't working anymore.
when typing a key the screen is flickering and the gui is changing and youwave doesn't receive any letters.
any ideas how to fix this?

« on: October 23, 2012, 03:11:49 AM »
hi all,

i've searched the forum for installing the google market + adding a google account.
unfortunately nothing didn't work as described .. :(
i'm using youwave v2.34

here's what i did:
- installing GoogleServicesFramework.apk
- installing vending.apk
- trying to sign in (no success)
- reboot youwave
- reinstall vending

no success :(
i keep getting an error "can't establish a reliable data connection to the server".
of course browsing via youwave is working ..
any ideas?

Technical Issues and Support / youwave not working anymore at all
« on: October 22, 2012, 05:56:20 AM »
hi all,

yesterday my win7 crashed and seems like youwave got corrupted.
it started as usual but entering via keyboard didn't work anymore.
i completely uninstalled and reinstalled it.
now it's even worse, youwave won't boot android - i'm only getting a blank screen which shows parts of my desktop .. :(
any ideas? thanks

ps: there's still a very annoying bug: youwave won't store german keyboard layout. each time i'm rebooting i first have to switch to german keyboard layout and restart youwave.

General Discussion / syncing contacts?

Technical Issues and Support / Re: high cpu load under win7 (32 bit)

Hmm. That should not be the case. Could it be coincidence?

Just a speculation:
After you did a fresh win7 install, the system might be busy updating something and causes CPU going high. And at that moment, you installed youwave and saw the high CPU.

Can you try reinstall YouWave and observe? You may reboot your machine after reinstallation.

i'm happy it was a false alarm .. seems like the system was missing some chipset drivers - it's working as expected :)
there's one bug i found: when changing the keyboard layout to german, restarting youwave - it works. but after the next reboot it is reset to english again.

ps: could you please add support for the google market / connecting to google account for syncing contacts (i'm using whatsapp)

Technical Issues and Support / high cpu load under win7 (32 bit)
« on: April 12, 2012, 10:58:30 AM »

i've experienced a big problem using youwave - i did a fresh win7 install on my machine (win7 32 bit with 2 gb ram), installed youwave
as FIRST application and saw that cpu was running pretty high - from 7-30% - although youwave wasn't running!
i've checked process manager and saw that it was caused by svchost.exe but under threads/services there was no hint about youwave at all.
then i uninstalled youwave, rebootet - and voila - cpu load was normal again (0-1%).

any ideas what's wrong? it must be caused by a service of youwave. please provide a fix! :)
