Cannot remove an App from Emulator?
« on: July 13, 2011, 06:37:21 AM »
Hello.
I have a test App in my designated folder - You Wave sees it and double clicking launches it OK - nice.
Having done an update to it, knowing that double clicking wouldn't remove the existing App on the Emulator, I thought I delete it from You Wave emulator first.
I click and hold, the Home button changes to the Bin - I move the icon to the Bin - but all I succeed in doing is moving the App back to the home page... can't get rid of the thing! Can you advise where I've gone wrong?

Thanks

To remove an app, go to "Settings" ->"Manage applications" -> Choose one app-> Uninstall it.

What you are trying to do is just changing the home screen's icon shortcut, not the real app. It is confusing especially you are used to iPhone, but this is the design of Android.

YouWave is updated to Android Lollipop. See youwave.com/download
