Possible to reset the Android environment?
« on: October 03, 2011, 06:43:41 PM »
Hi,
Is it possible to reset everything on the YouWave virtual machine to how it was when first installed?
Thanks.

Yes. But now you have to do it manually. We will add a UI to do it in the near future.

First, close YouWave program. Then go to <user name>/.Virtualbox/HardDisks. Do you see two files called youwave_vm01.vdi and youwave_vm01_golden.vdi?

Rename youwave_vm01.vdi to a different name to back it up.

copy  youwave_vm01_golden.vdi to youwave_vm01.vdi. (note:please use copy to keep original youwave_vm01_golden.vdi untouched because you may need it in the future).

Now start YouWave program, you will have a fresh Android to start.

Thanks.
YouWave is updated to Android Lollipop. See youwave.com/download
