Where and how would you change the ID?

well there is a guide by the admin
http://youwave.com/forum/index.php?topic=1629.0
but my question can i like use whatsapp in both phone and youwave with the same id
because when i use my number in youwave the whatsapp in the phone tell me that i have
switched my phone and he need to re-verify my phone
so if both have the same id
whatsapp will think its the same phone and will let me use both
without  re-verify in

well everything is worth a try...

But in theory... a message that is being send... would constantly be checked whether it has arrived or not.. (remember the checkmarks)
So in theory the server would stop sending the message after it has recieved the second checkmark...
Also maybe whatsapp remembers the MAC adress as well, we'll never know for sure unless you try it out.

But my thoughts are a bit sceptical about it, because whatsapp has specifically designed the system for a 1-on-1 communication, to prevent spying etc

The ID here is the ANDROID_ID (http://developer.android.com/reference/android/provider/Settings.Secure.html#ANDROID_ID).

We do not think that Whatsapp use this ID to identify a user. Rather, a phone number and maybe something else (mac address?) are used. And like reconx86 said, 1-on-1 communication is required.

So playing with the YouWave's ANDROID_ID will not achieve what you want to do.
YouWave is updated to Android Lollipop. See youwave.com/download
