Android app for different screen resolutions
« on: January 18, 2012, 11:33:26 PM »
I have started using YouWave and I wish to know if we can emulate an android app for phones with different screen resolutions. For example MDPI and HDPI. If it is possible then how?

Now it is not available. This is one of the work that had been under work and now is getting preempted by other higher priority works. We will resume work on this later.
YouWave is updated to Android Lollipop. See youwave.com/download

Adaptable screen sizes are needed by the Android developer community. The official google emulator is slow. Youwave is fast. The fact that youwave cannot emulate the real screen resoultions of phones (ie 480 x 800, 400 x 1024, ect) means it isnt ver useful as it is.
Please fix this if possible.

We hate to say that we are working on this or that. Present tense in reporting does not show much data. But let me explain our logic. We have been thinking that adaptable screen sizes are needed for ICS version, but not necessarily for Gingerbread. Now with ICS out, we are all on changing screen size feature.

It should be out by end of this month.
