Using YouWave as eclipse emulator
« on: November 06, 2013, 01:18:27 AM »
Hi,

I'd like to set up YouWave as my AVD in Eclipse.  I understand that this is possible using ip address 127.0.0.1 and port number 5558

So, I go to my cmd AND TYPE:

adb connect localhost:5558

but I get error message:

adb is not recognized as internal or external command on windows

I'm using Windows 7.

I'd be grateful for guidance, please.   Also, kindly be as explicit as possible as I'm not a programmer and I need as much step by step help as possible, please.

Many thanks.

John

If you have installed Android ADT with Eclipse, the adb command is located under your adt-bundle, sdk/platform-tools/adb.exe

The reference is here: http://developer.android.com/tools/help/adb.html
"You can find the adb tool in <sdk>/platform-tools/."
YouWave is updated to Android Lollipop. See youwave.com/download
