Sending messages through whatsapp
« on: April 09, 2014, 09:47:24 PM »
Hi.

I installed Youwave successfully and also downloaded whatsapp and registered in the same way.

However, when I send messages to my contacts it gives me two options:

-Messaging
-Whatsapp

I chose the latter but then the following text appears:

"You seem to be trying to send a WhatsApp message to a phone number that is not registered with WhatsApp.
Your account mudt have WhatsApp installed in order to chat to WhatsApp.
If this was done automatically, it is likely that WhatsApp is the default messaging app.
Press "SMS" to send a normal SMS to this contact, press "invite" to send an invitation via SMS"

Therefore, I have been unable to send any message.

What should i do to make it work?

p.s. I know for sure that i'm trying to send a message to an existing whatsapp number. And i also have tried to send the invitation via SMS but all it appears when i send my message is "sending"...but it never gets sent!!

Help

YouWave is not a GSM phone, so you can not call or sms with it... Possible issues:
- the number has ceased existing
- you have been blocked
- you entered a wrong number
- your contact uninstalled whatsapp

Solutions:
- Ask your contact to add you
- Or contact whatsapp support to ask about your issue
