I can see that it is possible for an anti-virus software to give warnings for our product during installation or runtime for the following reasons:
* Our software installs a driver (digitally signed) on Windows. Some anti-virus software still thinks that is suspicious.
* Currently there are not many users using our software. The low user count may trigger some warnings.
* Our software needs internet access. Firewall programs may complain that.
Solution: For now, you may need to work around your anti-virus software to install it. This is nothing new for software, as Ken Thompson reflected in "Reflections on Trusting Trust". And what we are doing is nothing different from any other well known software programs. What we need is just time and users' recognition. Anyone who has created something new from scratch knows this.
Update: 10/1/2010. If you still see anti-virus warnings except internet firewall warning while installing and running YouWave Android, you may let us know. Currently, our user count should be large enough to not show the low user count warning.
