Getting more apps results in error - file already exists
« on: September 08, 2010, 05:13:49 PM »
When getting more apps, for some Windows 7 users, a message will pop up that says the file already exists and needs to be deleted first before copying, when in fact the file does not yet exist in the target directory.  I found out that this is due to the directory being left in "read-only" mode.  The way to fix it is to change the permission of the directory (for example, <user home dir>/youwave/android apps) so that "read-only" is unchecked.  After that downloading apps will complete successfully.
